I have a 1Hp submersible pump, rated at 15 gpm, at least that's what I get at my unfiltered spigot about 100′ from the well.
4″ PVC well 180′ deep. Water level at 30′ and pump hanging at 60′.
I live in Keystone Heights, Fl. Nothing but sand.
I was experiencing lots of fine sand. I think my jetted tub faucets (9 GPM flow) pulled in sand. 4100 sq ft house. (3) low flow showers.
Tried a North Star back flush sediment tank 1.0 from Lowes with a Whirlpool cartridge post. System was too small to begin with, reduced flows in the house Had to change cartridges weekly and back flushed sediment tank every night for 25 min at 6 gpm.
The flow rate is great with your system. No more sand residue in the bottom of the tub.
