Air Charger Sulfur Filter Air Injection Oxidizing Filter, as a single tank system, is an efficient and cost effective system for the removal of sulfur odors.
The Air-Charger 7500-Rev2.5 control valve maintains an air pocket in the top of the tank while the system is in service.
As the water passes thru the air pocket, sulfur odors are oxidized as dissolved oxygen is added to the water.
The system includes special catalytic carbon filter media bed with KDF media that then removes the sulfur odors from the water.
The presence of the dissolved oxygen supercharges the catalytic carbon to remove far more odor than if no dissolved oxygen is present.
The catalytic carbon (when oxygen is present) rapidly destroys the sulfur odor in a catalytic process which allows the carbon to work for years.
The Air-Charger 7500 can remove up to 10 ppm Hydrogen Sulfide.
Extremely low maintenance: the 7500-Rev2.5 control lasts for years with little or no maintenance
The systems includes the backwash control valve, 1" pipe connectors, a by-pass valve, NSF certified filter tank and all necessary filter media.
