Works great for use in chlorine, peroxide or other injection check valve applications where a 1/2" injection check valve is used. 

 Sch 80 PVC fitting is 3/4" x 3/4" sip with a 1/2" port for installing your injection check valve.

Better and stronger than Sch 40 PVC and is designed for use in potable water applications.

This is a slip fitting - meaning you would glue it into the 3/4" pipe.  It also has a 1/2" threaded fitting built in!
