Overview
UV Sensor for Blackcomb UV Sterilizers
This product is a Luminor RS-B2.5 replacement UV sensor for all BLACKCOMB 6.1 residential products with a 2 1/2" diameter chamber (LB5/LB6 -06, -10, -15 series, LB6-021, LB6-031, LB6-061, LB6-101, LB6-151, and all 12V, 230V models & NSF Class B).
The UV sensor module allows for a UV sensor upgrade to all BLACKCOMB 5.1 systems (or replacement on all BLACKCOMB 6.1 systems). All BLACKCOMB 5.1 systems come supplied with a built-in expandability port.
On systems with the UV monitor, the system will display the same screens as on the BLACK-COMB5.1, except the UV Intensity replaces the home screen. The UV Intensity screen displays the level of UV light detected by the sensor.
UV intensity can be affected by poor water quality, scaling on the quartz sleeve and/or sensor, lamp failure, or lamp expiration. The following screens show the UV Intensity dropping.

Remove the Teflon glow plug from the port and affix the UV sensor module. Plug the sensor into the controller's IEP (infinite expandability port) and restart the system. The system will now monitor the UV intensity the ultraviolet lamps give.
