I started out with a ceramic backwash filter for iron and a water softener with tannin resin added. I have been experiencing iron bacteria and a small amount of odor. I added a carbon backwash filter and hydrogen peroxide injection system. The carbon filter is piped between the ceramic filter (#1) and water softener (# 3). This system appears to be working great! I have lived with iron bacteria for quite a while and my new wife is very pleased with the results of this new installation. Thank you!
